In 1868, the American watchmaker and engineer Florentine Ariosto Jones established the “International Watch Company” in Schaffhausen, realizing his bold vision of a centralized watch production. By combining American industrial technology with the craftsmanship of Swiss watchmakers, Jones laid the foundation for the engineering approach that continues to define us today.
