We wanted to round out this newsletter with a light-hearted review of one of our absolute favorite annual events.
Even though temperatures drop well below zero in the Northeast Kingdom, we’ve learned how to have our fair share of fun. This year marked the third Curds & Curling event–a Greensboro take on the classic Olympic sport. With a little creativity (and a lot of cheese), we transform taste wheels into the most delicious curling stones in the world.

And don’t worry: every cheese used in this event was one of our test wheels. These are a wheel that accompanies every batch of cheese through its lift. It’s the wheel that gets probed, prodded, and sampled as a barometer for the health of the batch. We are not able to sell or serve these wheels, so this is a fitting end to their journey!
