Adam Freeland came up in London’s ’90s club scene helping shape the sound that became breakbeat.

A land where trip hop’s emotions, drum & bass weight and house music’s instinct met Founder of Marine Parade records and resident at London’s Fabric, Adam was to Dj almost every club and festival on the planet as his anti establishment anthem ‘We Want Your Soul’ took him interstellar.

More recently known for his band ‘The Acid’ (Mute Records), this Grammy-nominated artist spent the last decade living deep off-grid nearJoshua Tree in the Mojave desert.

Rarely playing out, he returns to what he does best: telling stories with sound, a journey in deep, dub and drone-soaked psychedelic left-field housey breakbeats and…. way beyond.

He’s performed 4 times with us at Joshua Tree Music Festival over the years, and we are thrilled for him to elevate us for the 2nd JTMF presents Dance Therapy Session at Mojave Gold!
