Modern Black American Music. That’s how The Psycodelics describe their sound  and once you hear it, you’ll feel exactly what they mean.

They first lit up the desert at JTMF in May 2023, and this fall, they return tighter, bolder, and funkier than ever. Hailing from Charleston, SC, The Psycodelics are pure groove alchemists brewing up a powerful blend of funk, rock, disco, jazz, and blues, all soaked in syrupy bass lines, boom-bap rhythms, and silky vocal harmonies.

“You can hear all the influences but it’s not an imitation, it’s an innovation,” says frontman Cam Wescott. “We’re pulling from every era, the ’60s through now and fusing it into something new.”

And that fusion? It’s irresistible.

Their mantra: Be Kind and Get Down.
Our response: Yes, please.

Catch The Psycodelics this October on the JTMF Main Stage, where the funk will be thick, the dancing mandatory, and the time-traveling grooves on full blast.

The Queer Salon is a safe space for QTBIPOC and LGBTQIAA+ fabulousness  an uplifting space to find community, celebrate identity, and co-create queer and trans joy.

We’re now inviting artists, educators, facilitators, performers, and wellness practitioners from across the queer spectrum to bring your brilliance to The Salon this fall. Whether you want to lead a workshop, host a dialogue, offer healing sessions, or share performance art, this is your space to shine.

Offerings may include:

• Community building practices

• Safe(r) space for rest, recharge, and reflection
