Y'all. A couple of months ago Typepad, the blogging platform I've used for 20 years, announced that it was shutting down completely. This sent me into a panic as I tried to figure out what to do going forward for Designer Challenges and Blog Hops. Luckily the built-in blog on our website works great, but the one drawback is that it doesn't have a comments section. While I was deciding what to do I simply failed to send out two monthly newsletters. (Whoops!)

So . . . this month is a TRIPLE GIVEAWAY!

Commenting for the giveaways will be on the YouTube videos instead of on the blog. The BONUS QUESTION is the same for all three challenges so you don't have to remember which goes with which. But to be clear, you need to comment on each of the three videos for maximum odds of winning. There's one $25 gift certificate up for grabs on each video, with the opportunity to double it to $50 if you answer the Bonus Question in your comment. You have until December 3, 2025 to get your comments in to be in the random drawings.

Want to double your prize?

Tell us in your comment something you're looking forward to. Is it a trip? Seeing family at the holidays? Trying a new craft technique? Next week's episode of Dancing with the Stars? It can be anything shiny that gives you a smile. You deserve it.

For Designer Challenge 99 with a theme of FUN FACES, I created a double Photo Fan Pop-up honoring a famous animated Thanksgiving special with a signature meal! The Peanuts characters were made using the Paper People die set and the Fun Faces 1 Clear Stamps. Watch the full tutorial (and leave a comment to be in on the giveaway) on YouTube here:

For Designer Challenge 98 with a theme of PEEK-A-BOO, I created an interesting alternate assembly of the Stocking Pop-up and then decorated it as a macabre Halloween scene. This is a completely generic technique and not specific to Halloween. Watch the full tutorial (and leave a comment to be in on the giveaway) on YouTube here:

For Designer Challenge 97 with a theme of LETTER, I created a very hungry caterpillar using the Arch Pop-up and Party Balloons. Watch the full tutorial (and leave a comment to be in on the giveaway) on YouTube here:
