Returns
What is the return window?
We accept returns within 30 days of completion of an order. Though we are not obligated to do so, we sometimes take returns past the 30-day window, depending on the issue.
How do I cancel my order and receive a refund?
If your custom Legacybox has not been fulfilled yet, our team can help cancel your order and issue a full refund. If we've already created and shipped your custom Legacybox kit, you can cancel and receive a refund within 60 days of your order date. If you've already sent us your Legacybox kit filled with analog media, your order cannot be canceled.
What if I received a damaged or incorrect item?
Yes, if your Legacybox arrived damaged, we'll happily ship you a replacement, free of charge. Simply contact our customer service team and we'll help you set this up.
Are there any items that are non-returnable?
If you've already sent us your Legacybox kit filled with analog media, your order cannot be canceled. Once items have been received, the digitization process cannot be canceled or modified.

The process is pretty straightforward, which is probably why over 1.5 million families have already trusted us with their precious memories. They send you a crushproof box (because apparently regular boxes aren't trustworthy enough for your wedding video), you fill it with your analog media, slap on their prepaid label, and ship it back. Then you wait. And wait some more.
Here's where it gets interesting-and slightly nerve-wracking. We know how important every home movie and photo is, so we've pioneered our very own, industry leading, online tracking system. You get updates throughout the process, which is both reassuring and anxiety-inducing because now you're constantly checking your email wondering if they've started working on your stuff yet.
The pricing starts reasonable but can climb quickly if you're not careful. When you receive your box, you'll see two types of item barcodes: ones that say "Included Item $0" and another that says "Add Item $17.99". Those extra items add up fast-it's like going to a movie theater and thinking you'll just get popcorn.
The reality is that digitizing your analog media by hand is more of an art than a science, so while we can estimate processing times, it varies depending on your order's size and the type of media you send in, in addition to current demand. At this time, Standard Processing takes around 4-6 weeks. But "4-6 weeks" in Legacy Box time can feel like dog years when you're excited to see those old family videos.
