LA's concert scene heats up in February, with GZA performing Liquid Swords live at Blue Note LA, Say She She headlining the Belasco and Japanese singer-songwriter Taeko Onuki kicking off the City Pop Waves concert series at The Wiltern. But, that's not all happening in LA between February 2 and February 8. From a Galentine's Day Parks & Rec marathon to Natural History Museum's First Fridays to home games from the Lakers, Clippers and Kings, there are a wealth of options.

First Fridays @ Natural History Museum (February 6)
Natural History Museum celebrates 20 years of bridging nightlife and education with the return of First Fridays on February 6. “Life at the Human Scale” is the theme for this month’s talk and Jay Som headlines the music portion of the night, which will also include DJ sets from Novena Carmel and Wyldeflower.

Say She She @ Belasco (February 5)
Say She She earned critical acclaim for their latest album, Cut & Rewind, released late last year. Now the disco vocal powerhouse brings their current tour to Los Angeles. Catch them at the Belasco on Thursday, February 5.

Drop-in Workshop: Animation Inspired by Ponyo @ Academy Museum (February 7)
Studio Ghibili’s PONYO, the Academy Museum’s latest exhibition, doesn’t open until Valentine’s Day, but, on Saturday, February 7, families are invited to drop in to the Shirley Temple Education Studio to learn how to make their own stop-motion animations inspired by the 2008 film. The workshop is free with general admission to the Academy Museum.
