Día de los Muertos - Gloria Molina Grand Park (Oct. 25)
Día de los Muertos at Gloria Molina Grand Park begins on Saturday, October 25, with a special opening day celebration from 11am to 4pm. This year’s event includes 19 altars from local artists and community groups that honor those who have passed and reflect the theme Let Freedom Ring: Honoring Our Immigrant Ancestors.

Heather Henson’s Handmade Puppet Dreams and the LA Guild of Puppetry join forces for Ghoulish Glimpses 2025: Haunted Puppetry on Stage and Screen, a special night at Philosophical Research Society filled with short films and puppets. In addition to film screenings, there will be live puppetry performance installations throughout the PRS campus at this all-ages event. Children ages 10 and under can attend for free.

LA Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors - Crypto.com Arena (Oct. 21)
After two pre-season games against the Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Lakers take on their cross-state rivals for their first game of the regular season on Tuesday, October 21. Tipoff at Crypto.com Arena is at 7pm. Later that week, the Lakers host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, October 24.

LA Chargers vs. Minnesota Vikings - SoFi Stadium (Oct. 23)
On October 23, the Los Angeles Chargers go up against the Minnesota Vikings at SoFi Stadium. Kickoff for this Thursday Night Football game is at 5:15pm.

LA Clippers vs. Phoenix Suns - Intuit Dome (Oct. 24)
The Los Angeles Clippers home opener is Friday, October 24, when the team takes on the Phoenix Suns at Intuit Dome. Tipoff is at 7:30pm and there’s a t-shirt giveaway for the first 10,000 fans. This is the first of two home games for the Clippers this week - they’ll play the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday, October 26.

"Jaja’s African Hair Braiding" - Mark Taper Forum (Oct. 21-26)
Jaja’s African Hair Braiding, the Tony-winning comedy set in a Harlem salon, comes to Los Angeles for a month-long run at Mark Taper Forum. The play, written by Jocelyn Bioh and directed by Whitney White, features evening and matinee performances through November 9.
