A GRAMMY week performance from nominee Molly Tuttle, a Married with Children reunion and a David Lynch-themed costume ball are just a few of the events you have to choose from Monday, January 26 and Sunday, February 1. Meanwhile, L.A.’s concert calendar picks up again at the end of the month when touring artists from Cate Le Bon to New Edition swing through town.

Let’s Rock: A Lynchian Costume Ball and Concert @ Philosophical Research Society (Jan 31)
The Philosophical Research Society brings its month-long celebration of David Lynch to a close on Saturday, January 31 with Let’s Rock: A Lynchian Costume Ball and Concert. Julee Cruise tribute band I Can’t Hear Cassandra and the Nightingales will perform live with a dance party to follow. There will be a costume contest with awards for Best David Lynch (or Gordon Cole), as well as character costumes.

Betty Boop and Koko the Clown are amongst the characters starring in the recently restored batch of Fleischer Cartoons set to screen at the Lodge Room on Monday, January 29. The all ages event will also include a Q & A with Claire Fleischer, great-granddaughter of Max Fleischer, by animation historian Ray Pointer.

French DJ/producer Dombresky spends two nights at Reframe Studios beginning on Friday, January 30, when his Disco Dom persona takes to the stage with support Maesic. Griffith Park Run (Feb 1)
This half-marathon invites participants of all skill levels. uniquely navigating all the main trails of Griffith Park. The 5K route is scenic, flat, and shaded, and for the first time, dogs are allowed to register as participants to run alongside their owners. The Half Marathon commences at 7:30 AM, while the 5K starts at 10:00 AM.
