Jaws (35mm screening) - Academy Museum (Jan. 2, 2026)
If you’ve been planning to check out Jaws: The Exhibition at the Academy Museum, Friday, January 2, is a good day to go. Plan to stick around late because Steven Spielberg’s 1975 blockbuster will be screening in 35mm at 7:30 pm in the David Geffen Theater.

The Lakers play their final game of 2025 at home on Tuesday, December 30, when they take on the Detroit Pistons at Crypto.com Arena. They’ll be starting the new year at home too, when the Lakers go up against the Memphis Grizzlies first on Friday, January 2, and again on Sunday, January 4.

LA Kings vs. Tampa Bay Lightning - Crypto.com Arena (Jan. 1, 2026)
The LA Kings kick off 2026 with a New Year’s Day game against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Crypto.com Arena. They’ll play at home again on Saturday, January 3, when they face off against the Minnesota Wild.
