Danila Yurov’s journey to the NHL has been fueled by hard work and sacrifice. Growing up in Chelyabinsk, Russia, his parents first put him on skates to keep him active—then realized his potential. As a young player, Yurov and his father moved away from home to pursue his hockey dreams.
Now building his life in the U.S., Yurov shares how he prepared for his first NHL season by training in America over the summer and embracing new experiences both on and off the ice in Becoming Wild, presented by Toyota.
The Minnesota Wild, in partnership with Jennie-O, will host a turkey give-away event on Tuesday, Nov. 18 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Aldridge Arena in Maplewood.
