Joel Eriksson Ek opened the scoring just 38 seconds into a back-and-forth battle in St. Paul last night. A late first-period goal from Kirill Kaprizov gave the Wild a 2-0 lead, but Montreal responded with three straight goals, taking a 3-2 advantage just 12 seconds into the third period. Brock Faber scored for the second straight game to force overtime, where Kaprizov sealed the win and extended the Wild’s win streak to four.
