We can't get over how epic last night was at Hancher, but the party has only just begun... Here's your breakdown of tonight's events at The Englert, Gabe's, and Riverside, plus the annual Lit Walk! And if you haven't snagged a pass yet, it's not too late. We have a limited number of Friday and Saturday passes left!

The Box Office is open for pass pickup/purchase from 10am - 11pm at The Englert today. Door times for shows vary, but typically open 30 minutes before the show. Artist and festival merch will be available for purchase. Also, show up to the FREE Lit Walk starting at 5:00pm. Check out the official Mission Creek T-shirt below!

Mannequin Pussy
The Englert @ 9:30 PM

The Friday festival headliner is Mannequin Pussy, a punk-rock band from Philadelphia. Their latest I Got Heaven, which is out March 1 via Epitaph Records, is the band’s most fully realized LP yet. Over 10 ambitious tracks which abruptly turn from searing punk to inviting pop, the album is deeply concerned with desire, the power in being alone, and how to live in an unfeeling and unkind world. It’s a document of a band doubling down on their unshakable bond to make something furious, thrilling, and wholly alive. See them perform on their 'I Got Heaven' Tour tonight!

Lit Walk
Various Venues @ 5:00 PM
 
Participate in the annual Lit Walk in downtown Iowa City! Friday of Mission Creek starts with readings and coversation at Revival and Willow & Stock, and Literature events extend into the night. The Lit Walk is FREE to attend and open to the public, bring your friends!
