April 17th @ 7:30pm

Kristian Matsson, A.K.A. Tallest Man On Earth, played Mission Creek in 2009, and now returns to Iowa City 16 years later. In 2009, tickets cost 5 dollars, and he played in the basement of the Jefferson Building downtown. Today, he headlines his own bill at The Englert, just across the ped-mall from the Jefferson Building. He is joined on his tour by The Still Tide, an indie rock band from Brooklyn. If you missed his 2009 Mission Creek set, you have a chance to see him next Thursday at The Englert!

Track Zero Live @ Gabe's
April 25th @ 9:00pm

Catch the next installment of Track Zero, The Englert's concert series focused on new, alternative music. DEHD just released their fifth album titled 'Poetry', and will be joined by Sweat FM and Merlin Brando. Don't miss this night of quality music all around, like a mini Mission Creek night at Gabe's!

Missing Mission Creek punk? Just announced for Track Zero, Upchuck brings high-energy punk music to Iowa City on May 6th at Gabe's. The Atlanta band brings POC voices to the punk scene, and does so without apology. Supported by local bands Burger and Flowerfield, this will be an entire night of punk, guaranteed to satisfy Mission Freaks.
