Who is your favorite band playing?
Mine? Mannequin Pussy. Now, ask yourself, What Would Mannequin Pussy Do?'. This will give you plenty of prompts for the weekend, starting with which set is a MUST. Wake up on Thursday, put on Loud Bark , and meditate on what your weekend will look like. My therapist told me to light a candle and stare at the flame as I concentrate and relax on the weekend ahead. I haven't done it yet, but I think we should all try this before the festival so we have something to talk about.
1. What Would Mannequin Pussy Wear?
For the Love of All the Bands Playing, Pick Your Outfits Early! – Don’t be late to the party, silly! The appetizers will be gone, and the opening act will be on to the next gig. Need inspiration? Check your prompt. Mannequin Pussy has four members, each with a distinct style.
Thursday: I like to get fancy for Hancher.
Friday: I tend to lean into an all-black look.
Saturday: Comfort is key—I know I’ll be biking, walking, and getting sweaty watching my favorite bands. Midday, I go home, change, and reset.
