Returns

What is the return window?
Modlily accepts returns or exchanges within 30 days of delivery. This gives customers a full month from the time they receive their package to decide if they want to keep their items or send them back.

Are there any items that are non-returnable?
For sanitary reasons, beach blankets, swimming rings, sunglasses, jewelries and hair accessories are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Products labeled "No returns or exchanges" on the product page are considered final sale products and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Only items in their original, undamaged, unstained and unworn condition and swimsuits with hygiene liners attached can be returned or exchanged.

How will I receive my refund?
It normally takes 1-3 working days for the refund to show in your PayPal (normally 48 hours); 10-20 business days on your credit/debit card that depends on your financial institution. For return label, Modlily will process return & exchange in 7 working days when warehouse receives return packages.

Who pays for return shipping?
Customers need to pay the return shipping charge. The return label fee will be deducted from your refund or paid when they process exchange if you used Modlily return label. The return label fee depends on the number of items and weight of parcel you are returning, at least US$10.99.

How do I start a return online?
If you have a registered account, you may start a return at the bottom of the page or by clicking My Order. You can also visit the start a return page on their website to initiate the process by entering your order information.

Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Modlily-it's kind of become this go-to spot for women who want trendy swimwear and casual clothes without dropping serious cash. Since 2009, they've aimed to be a top online fast-fashion brand with high-quality styles, speedy delivery, and unmatched customer service, though honestly, the reality's a bit more complicated than that.

The brand really found its niche in swimwear. And I mean really found it. They launched their highly anticipated 2025 Summer Swimwear Collection, marking 16 years of delivering affordable, trend-driven apparel for women, with this year's lineup highlighting their signature tankini series. What's actually pretty cool is their focus-they've been consistently designing comfort, casual, and cost-effective swimsuits for older women for over 15 years. That's not something you see everywhere.

Modlily offers 8000+ unique and ultra-affordable styles including swimwear, tops, dresses, plus size, jewelry and accessories. The selection's genuinely massive. You can scroll for hours and keep finding new stuff. They're particularly big on inclusive sizing, which matters-their diverse product range caters to different body types, including plus sizes.

But let's talk about what people actually experience. The reviews are... mixed, to put it mildly. On Trustpilot, 8,842 people have written reviews giving them a 4-star rating, which sounds decent. But dig deeper and you'll find complaints about shipping delays and customer service headaches. Some folks love their purchases-the quality surprises them for the price. Others? Not so much.

They offer free shipping on orders over $69 and have a 30-day return policy, which is pretty standard. The catch is you're paying for return shipping yourself in most cases. Return label fees start at least $10.99, which can eat into those savings pretty quick if something doesn't work out.

One thing that's genuinely interesting-they invited real customers from around the world to showcase their swimwear styles, with nearly a thousand authentic submissions highlighting the power of inclusive fashion. That ModlilyStyle campaign shows they're at least trying to connect with actual women, not just models.

The company operates globally from Hong Kong, ships worldwide, and has built this whole ecosystem around affordable fashion. Whether that's your jam depends on what you value-rock-bottom prices with some uncertainty, or paying more elsewhere for potentially smoother sailing. It's basically the fast-fashion trade-off, you know?
