Editor's Take

So here's the thing about MOFT-it's one of those brands that kind of sneaks up on you. You see their laptop stand once, maybe on someone's desk at a coffee shop, and you think "huh, that's clever." But then you actually get what they're doing, and it clicks.

MOFT stands for "Mobile Office for Traveller" and it's basically a brand dedicated to creative inventions that boost your productivity. Their whole philosophy? Smart products equal increased efficiency. Simple math, really. But what makes them interesting is how they've taken something as mundane as a laptop stand and turned it into this ultra-portable, origami-inspired thing that's practically invisible when you're not using it.

Their first product-the "World's First Invisible Laptop Stand"-launched on Kickstarter in January 2019, and it became the most-backed laptop stand ever on the platform. That's not just hype. These products are being enjoyed by over 1 million users worldwide. And the media noticed too-they've gotten attention from Wired, The Verge, Fast Company, WSJ, New York Times, CNN, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, GQ, and many more.

What's kind of fascinating is their design approach. Everything's inspired by origami-that Japanese paper-folding art-which means their stuff folds flat, weighs almost nothing, and somehow still holds up your 18-pound laptop without breaking a sweat. They've expanded way beyond laptop stands now. Phone stands, tablet cases, MagSafe wallets, even travel bags. They're expanding into new product categories including travel bags and lifestyle accessories.

The company targets remote workers, digital nomads, travelers-basically anyone who's ever tried to work from a cramped airplane tray table or a wobbly café counter. Whether you are a traveller, entrepreneur or a remote worker, their products provide the highest level of comfort, turning your hectic schedule productive and efficient.

And here's something you don't see every day: their products have won multiple international design awards and are globally patented. They're not just slapping adhesive on cardboard and calling it innovation. There's actual engineering happening here.

The vibe is minimalist, functional, and honestly pretty smart. No flashy colors or gimmicks-just well-designed tools that solve real problems for people who work on the go. Which, let's be honest, is most of us now.
