Journey of Jazz ‘25 is SCE’s first West Coast-based jazz cruise in over ten years. It will sail on the Celebrity Summit from Vancouver, BC on September 12, with stops in Victoria, BC and San Francisco before ending in Los Angeles on September 19.
The cruise's hosts are renowned bassist Marcus Miller, who will present his History of Jazz Show, and celebrated vocalist Gregory Porter, who will pay tribute to iconic jazz singers. The lineup also features Dee Dee Bridgewater, Chucho Valdés, Ron Carter and his quartet, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Wycliffe Gordon, Ravi Coltrane, and the Brubeck Brothers.
The itinerary includes a late-night stop in Victoria, BC where Diana Krall will join the ship for a special performance, and an overnight stay in San Francisco, allowing for special performances from the full Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra.
