Frank Lee More New Stock Analyst Reports Constellation Brands' (STZ) sales fell 15% in the second quarter of fiscal 2026, led by beer volume contraction and wine and spirits divestitures. Adjusted operating profits and earnings per share fell 13% and 16%, respectively. Constellation is launching new products to resonate with health-conscious drinkers and help keep its brands relevant amid current beer demand headwinds. The brewer also worked to reduce channel inventory, with shipment volume falling faster than the depletion drop for three consecutive quarters. Such efforts helped boost pricing by 2% for the quarter and hold beer gross margin in line with the 53% three-year average despite higher aluminum tariffs.
