Returns

What is the return window?
Your new Nest Bedding mattress comes with an industry leading 365-night sleep trial. The trial begins on the date you receive your mattress and cannot be extended or paused. Please note that the mattress return policy allows for one mattress return per customer, per calendar year from the date of purchase.

Are there any items that are non-returnable?
All furniture, foundations, adjustable bases, nightstands, dressers, and chests are not eligible for return once received. Any exterior damage to the mattress, including but not limited to stains, rips, tears, and the presence of bedbugs, will void all return privileges, as these are considered external conditions that are unrelated to comfort.

How will I receive my refund?
Once your return is complete, we'll process a refund to your original purchase payment method. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the funds to process fully back to your account if the refund is issued to the original payment method. Alternative refund option timeframes may vary depending on the method of payment.

Who pays for return shipping?
Nest Bedding offers free returns on mattresses after the 30th night of your 365-night trial. Returns initiated before the 30th night may result in a disposal fee. For pillows and bedding, if you choose to return your pillow for a refund rather than an exchange, a flat-rate $10 return shipping fee will apply. This fee will be waived if the item arrives damaged or defective.

How do I start a return online?
To request an exchange, please contact Nest Bedding Customer Service at [email protected] or stop by a Nest Bedding showroom near you. The team will ask you for some basic pictures to confirm that everything is in order with the mattress delivered to you. Mattress must be free of damage and stains. Once the pictures have been received by the Nest Bedding team, the pictures will be reviewed and the return approved, often within one business day.

Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Nest Bedding-they're kind of doing something different in an industry that's been stuck in its ways for decades. Established in 2011, Nest Bedding is one of the first to develop the bed-in-a-box concept, recognizing a need for responsibly crafted mattresses made with high-quality materials at reasonable prices and a longer, renewable lifespan.

What really sets them apart is this whole Lifetime Renewal Exchange thing. In 2021, they became the world's first mattress company to offer a Lifetime Renewal Exchange (LRE) program for their luxury mattresses-a one-time comfort guarantee that can be redeemed either during your first 365-nights of sleep or years after, allowing you to renew your mattress when it's right for you and save yourself the time and money it takes to shop for a new mattress. That's basically unheard of in the mattress world.

And speaking of trials, they're not messing around with the typical 100-night thing. Your new Nest Bedding mattress comes with an industry leading 365-night sleep trial, beginning on the date you receive your mattress. A full year to decide if you like your mattress? That's confidence in your product right there.

The family-owned aspect matters too. Nest Bedding is a family owned, factory direct, mattress, and bedding company offering organic, natural, and certified luxury products online and in showrooms across the United States. They're not some faceless corporation-they actually manufacture their stuff here. All of their mattresses are thoughtfully designed and assembled in the USA using high-quality, certified, clean materials to be free of the nasty chemicals prevalent in modern-day mattresses.

But here's where it gets interesting: certain mattresses have zippered tops. Yeah, you can literally unzip your mattress and swap out the comfort layer if it's not working for you. Certain Nest Bedding mattresses have zippered tops, allowing the internal comfort layer to be exchanged, saving our planet from yet another mattress in our overfilled landfills. It's both practical and environmentally conscious-two things that don't always go together in the mattress industry.

The customer service piece is worth mentioning because it's not just marketing speak. They're an expert sleep company, based in the USA, available 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. And from what customers say, they actually mean it. People consistently mention how responsive and helpful the team is, especially when trying to dial in the perfect comfort level.

Price-wise, they're positioning themselves as the anti-markup brand. They're known for their dedicated customer service, unique American made products and great prices. The factory-direct model means you're not paying for a bunch of middlemen, which in the mattress world can save you serious money.

Their product range goes beyond just mattresses too-pillows, bedding, foundations, even pet beds. They feature organic, natural, and affordable bedding such as organic sheet sets, blankets, and pet products, along with supportive steel and solid hardwood, sustainable platform foundations, and bed frames. Basically, they're trying to be your one-stop shop for the entire bedroom.

One more thing that's pretty cool: they've got actual showrooms scattered around the country. Try Nest Bedding online or visit one of their showrooms in California, Texas, Minnesota, Illinois, Ohio, and more. So if you're the type who needs to actually lie on a mattress before buying (and honestly, who isn't?), you've got options.

The sustainability angle isn't just window dressing either. Their luxury mattresses are assembled in the USA using only the best domestic and imported materials in the industry, including CertiPUR-US® certified foams. They're actually thinking about what goes into these things and how long they'll last, which is refreshing in a world of planned obsolescence.
