The New Jersey Devils announced today that the team has agreed to terms with team captain Nico Hischier on a five-year contract extension worth $58,500,00 ($11,700,000 average annual value), which begins with the 2027-28 season.

Gritsyuk Re-Ups with Devils | RELEASE

The New Jersey Devils announced today that the team has re-signed restricted free-agent forward Arseny Gritsyuk to a three-year contract worth $9,750,000 total, with an annual average value (AAV) of $3,250,000. The contract breakdown is as follows: 2026-27: $2,250,000, 2027-28: $2,750,000 & 2028-29: $4,750,000.

Devils Acquire Rodrigues, Boqvist and Steeves from Florida | RELEASE

The New Jersey Devils announced today that the team has acquired forwards Evan Rodrigues, Jesper Boqvist, and Ben Steeves from Florida in exchange for goaltender Jacob Markstrom and forward Angus Crookshank. The announcement was made by General Manager Sunny Mehta.

Devils Release 2026 Preseason Schedule | RELEASE

The New Jersey Devils’ 2026-27 pre-season schedule will feature four games, with two games played at Prudential Center and two road matches. The club will play the New York Islanders and New York Rangers twice each. Ticket and broadcast details will be announced at a later date.
