The New Orleans Pelicans have officially named Louisiana native and Hall of Famer Joe Dumars as Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations. From winning two NBA titles as a player to leading the Detroit Pistons to a championship as an executive, Dumars brings an elite blend of experience and leadership to New Orleans.

Most recently serving as Head of Basketball Operations for the NBA, Dumars is widely respected for his winning mindset, strong relationships, and ability to build tough, disciplined teams. He knows what it takes to compete — and he’s bringing that vision home.
