Hi everyone,
The 30th of May is World MS Day, and this year’s theme is “My MS Diagnosis”.
So today I wanted to share a little about mine, and how that moment eventually led to the creation of Nuzest.
I was 22 years old, sitting alone in a doctor’s office, being told I had Multiple Sclerosis – a debilitating disease of the brain and nervous system – and that there was no known cure.
Back then treatment options were limited, and my prognosis was bleak. Like so many people receiving this diagnosis, I left that appointment feeling scared, overwhelmed, and uncertain about what my future would look like.
Over the past 20+ years MS has intermittently affected my vision, my mobility, my congition, and my confidence. While treatment options have greatly improved, there is still no cure.
Today, nearly 3 million people around the world are living with MS, with women diagnosed at two to three times the rate of men.
What slowly helped me regain a sense of hope was discovering the power of nutrition and lifestyle. It gave me back a sense of control over my health and wellbeing.
That diagnosis and the journey it led me on are what inspired the Nuzest brand.
This World MS Day, we want to give back to the MS community and support the ongoing search for a cure.
From 25–31 May, every order placed on our website will contribute to MS research. You can choose how much goes to you, and how much goes to the cause.
