Editor's Take
Ordinary Habit isn't your typical puzzle company-and that's exactly the point. They've built something genuinely different around the simple idea that we all deserve moments of calm in our overstimulated world, with a focus on highlighting diverse female artists. And honestly? It's working.
Their collection spans jigsaw puzzles, travel puzzles, matching cards, and more-all designed with an almost obsessive attention to tactile experience. Every piece is soft to the touch, made from premium materials, with surfaces that stay glare-free under any lighting, plus they come in cloth drawstring bags with packaging that's actually gift-worthy. It's the kind of detail work that makes you realize most puzzle companies have been phoning it in.
But here's what really sets them apart: they've expanded into journaling with their "For Now" journal, featuring original writing prompts that can be completed in any order-from answering questions to making lists to leisurely doodling. The whole philosophy centers on finding tactility in our increasingly digital lives, believing that mindfulness can be found on any flat surface.
Their pricing sits at $40 for premium puzzles and $20 for smaller options, with consistently stellar 5-star ratings across their product line. The brand encourages you to bring their products everywhere-dinner parties, vacations, and everywhere in between. They genuinely want to become part of your "Ordinary Habit," and based on their growing following, they're succeeding at creating those meaningful daily rituals people actually stick with.
