Hannah Anderson, a rising defender in the NWSL, joined the Orlando Pride this offseason after two seasons with the Chicago Stars.
Seeking new challenges and growth, Anderson is excited to contribute to the Pride's strong defensive legacy under Head Coach Seb Hines. A standout at Texas Tech and the 2023 Big 12 Defender of the Year, Anderson brings experience and determination to a team with high expectations, having won the NWSL double in 2024 and reached the semifinals in 2025.
Adjusting to life in Orlando, she’s embracing the opportunity to train alongside world-class teammates like Marta and Barbra Banda while learning from seasoned leaders. Off the field, Anderson is navigating long-distance with her fiancé, Chicago Cubs pitcher Jack Neely, whose unwavering support has fueled her confidence to take this next step in her career.
Kick off the new season with us as the Pride take on Seattle Reign FC on Sunday, March 15 at 4:00 PM at Inter&Co Stadium — presented by Orlando Health. Don’t miss out!
