| | Welcome, Sean Sweeney! Sean Sweeney has been named head coach of the Orlando Magic, President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman announced today. He becomes the 16th head coach in franchise history.
Sweeney will join the Magic after serving as associate head coach for the Western Conference Champion San Antonio Spurs this past season. He will continue with the Spurs through the NBA Finals. Before this, he was part of the Dallas Mavericks coaching staff during their runs to the 2022 Western Conference Finals and 2024 NBA Finals. | | | | |
