Editor's Take
So here's the thing about Packaging Supplies by Mail-they're basically the stretch wrap kings of Cleveland, and they've been at it since 2009. What started as a packaging supply company has grown into something pretty impressive, with multiple warehouses and a reputation that stretches (pun intended) across the entire United States.
The company's bread and butter is stretch wrap manufacturing, but don't let that fool you into thinking they're a one-trick pony. They've got everything from poly bags to carton sealing tapes, industrial gloves to mailing envelopes. It's like a candy store for anyone who needs to ship, pack, or protect stuff-which, let's be honest, is pretty much everyone these days.
What's interesting is how they've positioned themselves in the market. While most packaging companies are fighting over retail customers, PSBM has carved out this sweet spot serving everyone from massive corporations to small businesses to regular folks shipping from home. They've managed to become a Top-Rated Seller on both Amazon and eBay, which isn't exactly easy to pull off in such a competitive space.
Their whole operation runs on this e-commerce model, even though they've got physical warehouses scattered around. It's smart, really-they can offer that wholesale pricing and bulk deals while still being accessible to smaller customers who just need a few rolls of tape. And speaking of bulk deals, they're pretty serious about their pallet pricing. If you're buying in volume, they want your business.
The customer service angle is solid too. They've got the usual suspects-phone, email, live chat-but what stands out is their shipping policy. Free shipping on most categories, same-day shipping if you order before noon EST, and they'll ship pretty much anywhere in the continental US. For a company that's been around since 2009, they've clearly figured out the logistics game.
One thing that caught my attention is their 20,000 square feet of warehouse space. That's not huge by industrial standards, but it's substantial enough to handle serious volume. Plus, being based in Cleveland gives them decent access to major shipping routes without the crazy overhead costs of coastal cities.
