Editor's Take
So here's the thing about Papertrey Ink-they've been quietly revolutionizing the paper crafting world since 2007, and honestly? Most people outside the stamping community have no idea how big a deal they are.
Started with just one stamp set called "Papertray" back in February 2007, and since then their whole mission has been creating high-quality, versatile crafting products that anyone can use to make beautiful creations. Simple concept, but the execution is where things get interesting.
What sets them apart isn't just the products-it's this whole philosophy about embracing the artistic ability within us all. They're not just selling you stamps and dies; they're building what they call an "amazing toolkit where you could literally create anything for any occasion for anybody at your fingertips." And honestly, when you look at their product range, that's not marketing fluff.
They've got this fascinating release schedule-new products drop on the 15th of each month, with a countdown on their blog starting on the 10th featuring sneak peeks. Then there's this whole release party in their customer forum at 10pm Eastern on the 14th, with excited customers literally waiting until midnight for new products to go live. It's like Black Friday, but for crafters.
The community aspect is huge here. This isn't just about selling products-they've created this amazing community of crafters who are all building beautiful things together. What started as a mother-daughter stamping experience has grown into something more life-changing than they could have imagined.
They specialize in clear stamps, paper crafting embellishments, and accessories-all created specifically for stampers, by stampers. That insider knowledge shows in the details. They pride themselves on providing only the highest quality products at reasonable prices, which in the crafting world is actually a pretty bold statement.
But here's what really caught my attention: they promise you'll not only find every possible tool you need, but you'll also find your friends, your community, and maybe even yourself. That's either the most genuine mission statement I've seen in retail, or the most effective marketing copy ever written. Based on their 18+ year track record, I'm leaning toward genuine.
