Editor's Take
Here's the thing about Pepper-they're basically doing what should've been done decades ago. Launched in 2017 as a Kickstarter campaign with a goal of $10,000, they reached 100% of their goal in the first 10 hours. That tells you something right there. Turns out, a lot of women were tired of bras that just... didn't fit.
They make exceptionally fitting bras, swim, and more designed for AA, A, and B cups. And honestly? It's kind of wild that this was such a gap in the market. But it was. The whole lingerie industry had basically been ignoring small-chested women, assuming they could just size down from standard options. Spoiler: that doesn't work.
What makes Pepper different is they're not just selling bras-they're building a movement. Their community, affectionately known as The Committee, is at the heart of everything they do. Your feedback, your comments, your DMs... they shape designs, decisions, and direction. They don't see customers as just customers-they see them as co-creators, collaborators, and core to their mission.
The product line has expanded beyond just bras now. They've launched their first-ever loungewear collection, plus swimwear and undies. Everything's designed with the same philosophy: if you're an AA, A, or B cup, these pieces will actually fit your body instead of gaping, sliding, or just looking wrong.
And they're serious about manufacturing ethics too. Their manufacturing facility gives single mothers or head of household preference during the job screening process. Colombia is known for its expertise in manufacturing lingerie, and has some of the largest and most experienced clothing and textile industries.
The brand's grown fast-like, really fast. But the mission hasn't changed. They're still about helping small-chested women feel seen, celebrated, and properly fitted. No more settling for good enough. Just bras (and swim, and loungewear) that finally work.
