Returns

What is the return window?
We are only able to accept returns for an order within 30 days of your order's ship date. We cannot guarantee we will be able to accept any returns or exchanges beyond that time frame.

Are there any items that are non-returnable?
No returns on products under $10; unfortunately, we cannot accept returns under $10 unless you'd like to ship the item back to us with a shipping carrier of your choice at your expense. No returns on opened product (please make your purchase selections carefully!). No returns on any r/x products; unfortunately we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds for any medications or prescription foods per pharmaceutical regulations.

How will I receive my refund?
To better serve our customers and streamline operations, Petflow has updated its return policy. All sales are final. If you received an incorrect product due to our error, we will issue a call tag to have the product returned. Once we receive the product back, a credit will be issued.

Who pays for return shipping?
Returns will be subject to a return shipping fee, depending on the retail price of the item(s) being returned. The return shipping fee will be deducted from the total credit/refund amount for the item(s) being returned.

Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Petflow-they're basically trying to solve that universal pet parent problem we've all faced. You know, when you're standing in the pet store aisle, wrestling with a 30-pound bag of dog food while your golden retriever is at home probably wondering where their dinner went.

Founded in 2010, Petflow has been dedicated to making pet parenting easier with their convenient Auto-Ship service and a carefully curated selection of premium pet food and supplies. And honestly? The timing was perfect. This was right when online shopping was really taking off, but most pet parents were still dragging themselves to big box stores for kibble runs.

What's kind of interesting is their whole "Good Foods and Good Deeds" philosophy. They donate a bowl of food to pets in need with every box shipped, which feels genuine rather than just marketing fluff. It's one of those things that makes you feel slightly less guilty about ordering pet supplies from your couch at 2 AM.

The auto-ship thing is where they really shine, though. They email you one week before your next scheduled order as a quick reminder your shipment is coming soon, and you can adjust everything without jumping through hoops. No more panic runs to the store because you forgot Fluffy was down to her last few kibbles.

But let's be real-they're not perfect. All sales are final according to their updated return policy, which is pretty strict compared to competitors like Chewy. And some customers have complained about website functionality issues, especially with the auto-ship modifications.

They carry nearly 150 brands of the finest dog and cat food, treats and more, and ship them directly to your doorstep. Based in Pennsylvania with teams and facilities on both coasts, their talented staff are dedicated to providing customers with the best service possible.

The company's grown quite a bit since those early days-they're shipping over a million pounds of pet food monthly now. Not bad for a startup that basically asked, "What if pet parents never had to lug heavy bags again?"
