Returns
What is the return window?
PlushBeds offers a 100-night sleep trial period. To qualify for a full refund, you must sleep on the mattress for at least 30 nights. If you return it before 30 nights, a $99 convenience fee will be deducted from your refund.
Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Custom mattress orders are excluded from returns. Other products ordered through PlushBeds.com may not be eligible for returns or may only be returned new and unopened. Please see the product page for the return policy associated with any specific item.
How will I receive my refund?
Once PlushBeds receives your returned mattress, your refund will be processed within 72 hours. Refunds are issued back to your original payment method. If the refund must be processed through a different channel, a 3% processing fee may apply.
Who pays for return shipping?
Returns are free of restocking fees, and the company covers shipping within the contiguous United States. For mattress removal, they offer a concierge service for a fee of $149 that picks up your mattress from your home and recycles it responsibly.
What if I received a damaged or incorrect item?
If an item looks damaged or parts are missing, please notify us. We will arrange for a replacement as quickly as possible. Even if the package appears only slightly damaged, write "Package Damaged" when you sign for the delivery. If the package looks significantly damaged, you may refuse delivery and we will send you a new one.
Editor's Take
So here's the thing about PlushBeds-they're basically what happens when someone gets really, really serious about organic sleep. And I mean serious in the best possible way.
The founder's story hits different than your typical startup origin tale. His father developed Parkinson's at 40 and died at 64, with research suggesting environmental chemicals might play a role. When his daughter was born, he and his wife went on a mission to eliminate toxins from their home-including finding healthy mattresses, which turned out to be surprisingly difficult.
That personal drive shows up everywhere in their operation. Their 80,000-square-foot factory in Camarillo is one of only six manufacturers in the US that's both GOTS and GOLS certified-certifications that are genuinely hard to get and maintain. Every mattress undergoes a 95-point inspection before leaving the factory, which honestly sounds excessive until you realize they're trying to eliminate literally thousands of potential chemical exposures.
The latex thing is where they really shine. Their mattresses feature latex for comfort, durability and cooling sleep, with the Botanical Bliss and Natural Bliss lines being fully latex while Luxury Bliss is a hybrid with innersprings. They offer a unique comfort exchange where you can swap out the top latex layer if the firmness isn't quite right-basically letting you fine-tune your mattress at home.
But here's what's kind of refreshing: they openly admit a PlushBeds mattress might not be for everyone, but they still want to be the resource to help you make an informed decision. That's either really confident or really honest. Probably both.
The 100-night trial requires sleeping on it for at least 30 nights (there's a $99 fee if you return it earlier), which makes sense when you think about how bodies actually adjust to new sleep surfaces. Returns are free with no restocking fees, and they offer concierge pickup for $149.
Price-wise, you're looking at premium territory, but customers are 1.8x more likely to mention being satisfied with the price value versus comparable mattresses. They back everything with a 25-year warranty and that 100-night trial with free return shipping.
The whole operation feels like what happens when someone takes "non-toxic living" seriously without getting preachy about it. They just make really good mattresses that happen to be ridiculously clean.
