With phenomenal speakers, we covered important and emerging industry topics from international traveler sentiment to avoiding burnout in our fast-paced industry. Sweeter Together: Pure Michigan x Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau Fudge Collaboration At the conference, Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau and Ryba’s Fudge Shops announced the launch of the new Pure Michigan Mackinac Island Fudge collection, which is kicking off with the spring flavor of Sweet Maple Waffle that features maple sugar from Postma Brother’s Maple Syrup Continental Farms in the Upper Peninsula. Celebrating the maple syrup season in Michigan, this limited-edition flavor will be available at Ryba’s Fudge locations beginning May 2 and will be available to order online starting May 1. Campaign Update: Pure Michigan x Chef Mei Lin Exclusive on Bravo We teamed up with Chef Mei Lin, a Michigan native and the winner of Top Chef Season 12, on a fantastic pan roasted strip steak recipe inspired by her upbringing in the Great Lakes State. Featuring ingredients sourced from Michigan, this collaboration showcases the bountiful agricultural offerings and culinary experiences throughout the state. Save the Date: 2026 Pure Michigan Governor’s Conference on Tourism in Traverse City I can’t wait to see all of you again April 7-9, 2026, in Traverse City. With the 20th anniversary of Pure Michigan in 2026, it will be wonderful to gather in person to celebrate such an incredible achievement together.
