| Last Friday the State of Michigan Arts & Culture council took action on fiscal year 26 grants. For this cycle, MACC received a total of 677 applications, with requests totaling $24,591,642. This marks the second year of our updated grant program, which incorporates improvements developed alongside the Office of Continuous Improvement. All applicants will receive an email message indicating if they were or were not awarded funding in fiscal year 26. If applicants have questions about their application, they can refer to their SmartSimple account for feedback and to review the guidelines and the accompanying appendix, which provides a direct comparison of the required documents versus what was submitted. MACC Staff is working hard generating award letters, and grantees can expect those in the next 5 – 7 business days. A complete funding list by county can be found HERE.
