 Rising Leaders 2025-26 Cohort The Michigan Arts & Culture Council (MACC) is thrilled to announce we are accepting applications for the 2026–2027 cohort of the Rising Leaders Program! Are you an arts and cultural professional looking to expand your impact, hone your strategic skills, and connect with a passionate network of peers across the Great Lakes State? Or do you know an emerging leader in your organization who is ready for the next step? This is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. What is the Rising Leaders Program? The Rising Leaders Program is a cohort-based leadership development initiative designed specifically for Michigan’s arts and culture sector. The program empowers arts and culture professionals, community organizers, and cultural workers with the tools, equity-centered frameworks, and network they need to lead our arts and culture organizations into the future. Over the course of the 2026–2027 cycle (October 2026 - April 2027), cohort members will participate in: -
Intensive Skill-Building Workshops: Focused on strategic planning, financial literacy, equity in the arts, and adaptive leadership. -
Peer-to-Peer Networking: Building lifelong professional connections with colleagues from diverse disciplines across Michigan. -
