Join Us For Our Next MACC Council Meeting - Friday May 1 The Michigan Arts and Culture Council (MACC) is taking its next public meeting to the beautiful Grand Rapids Art Museum on Friday, May 1 at 1:00 PM, and we want to see you there. MACC meetings aren't just administrative huddles—they are where the future of our state's creative economy is shaped. From discussing grant opportunities that fuel local theaters to supporting the museums that preserve our history, council meetings determine how Michigan’s vibrant arts scene continues to thrive. As a public and open meeting, this is your chance to meet MACC council members and staff and see firsthand how state-level arts decisions are made. And MACC council meetings allow the public to stay informed about the arts landscape in Michigan by hearing updates on upcoming programs, funding, and cultural initiatives. And this is a great way for the arts and culture sector to show their support: Your attendance demonstrates to the council—and the state—just how much the arts matter to every community in the state. Make A Day Of It: There is no better place to talk art than inside the world-class Grand Rapids Art Museum. Located in the heart of downtown, the GRAM is a beacon of creativity. We encourage you to arrive early or stay late to explore the current exhibitions and get inspired before the meeting begins. Meeting Details: -
