Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Rexing-they're basically the dash cam company that snuck up on everyone. Started in 2015 by a husband-and-wife team with entrepreneurial ambitions, and by December of that same year they'd gone from selling 100 units a month to 3,000. That's not just growth, that's explosive.

What makes them interesting is they're not trying to be everything to everyone. They do one thing-dash cameras-and they've gotten really good at it. Their cameras are some of the best-selling dash cams on Amazon, which tells you something about both their pricing and their quality. The sweet spot seems to be that $60-$180 range, making them accessible without feeling cheap.

And the tech? It's actually pretty solid. We're talking 4K recording capabilities, 170-degree wide-angle lenses, night vision, G-sensors that detect collisions, and Wi-Fi connectivity so you can pull footage straight to your phone. Rexing is an American tech startup based in Little Ferry, NJ. They design, test, and manufacture all their devices to guarantee dependable and long-lasting products. That local angle matters-you're not dealing with some faceless overseas operation when something goes wrong.

But let's be real about the customer service situation. It's kind of a mixed bag. Their hours are Monday through Friday 9:30am-5:00pm EST, which isn't exactly round-the-clock support. Some customers rave about quick responses and helpful troubleshooting, while others report frustration getting through. The company clearly knows this is an issue they need to work on.

The product lineup has gotten more sophisticated over time. They've moved beyond basic single-camera setups to offer dual-channel, tri-channel, and even 4-channel systems that cover front, rear, sides, and cabin simultaneously. Perfect if you're an Uber driver or just really paranoid about parking lot dings. The V33 and R4 models seem to be their heavy hitters-the ones people upgrade to after starting with something simpler.

One thing that stands out: they pride themselves on two main things: quality and care. Customers have expressed their appreciation for their unique designs, innovative technology, and affordable price range. That commitment to staying affordable while adding features like GPS logging and parking mode monitoring is probably why they've maintained momentum in a crowded market.

The bottom line? Rexing carved out their niche by being the reliable middle ground-not the cheapest option, not the most premium, but the one that gives you legitimate 4K footage and useful features without requiring a second mortgage. For most people, that's exactly what they need.
