Returns
What is the return window?
Rhone garments in their original, unworn, and unwashed condition may be exchanged or returned for a refund up to 45 days following the original date of purchase free of charge and with free shipping.
Do I need a receipt to return an item?
To start an exchange or return, you need to visit rhone.loopreturns.com and provide your order number with the related shipping zip code to generate a free shipping label.
Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Items purchased on the Rhone 'Surplus' page and items marked as 'Final Sale' are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Purchases from third-party retailers (Equinox, REI, Nordstrom, etc.) must be returned to the retailer where purchased.
How will I receive my refund?
After processing your return, you'll receive an email confirmation. If your return is for store credit or a new item, it will be available as soon as your return is received and processed (typically 1-2 business days after delivery to the warehouse). If your return is for a cash refund, please allow additional processing time of up to 10 days after receiving your return for your bank to post your refund.
Who pays for return shipping?
The return will be completely free of charge, and the shipping is free as well. You can receive a shipping label by filling out a form on the website. The label can simply be printed and sent with the package back to Rhone in order to begin processing and receive your refund.
Editor's Take
So here's the thing about Rhone-it's kind of what happens when someone finally asks, "Why can't workout clothes actually work for, like, everything?" Brothers Nate and Ben Checketts started this whole thing back in 2014 because they were tired of the gap between big-box gym gear and those crazy-expensive yoga brands. And honestly? They nailed it.
The brand's built around this idea they call "performance apparel fit for progress," which sounds like marketing speak until you realize they're dead serious about it. They've partnered with the NBA and LPGA, which tells you something about their credibility in the performance space. But what's really interesting is how they've evolved-they launched a permanent women's line in April 2024 after years of focusing exclusively on men's activewear.
Their signature piece is the Commuter Shirt, which they literally call the "Official Dress Shirt of the NBA." It's made with Italian fabric, has anti-odor treatment, wrinkle-release technology, and you can throw it in the washing machine. Notice how that's basically solving every problem dress shirts have ever had? The whole concept is clothes that transition seamlessly from the gym to the office to wherever you're headed next.
By the end of 2025, they'll have 22 retail stores across the U.S., which is a pretty aggressive expansion for a brand that started online-only. You can also find their stuff at Equinox, Nordstrom, REI, and about 200 other specialty stores and gyms. They're headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, in this cool brick building from 1892 that used to house a piano manufacturer.
The fabric technology is where they really geek out. We're talking GoldFusion anti-odor treatment, four-way stretch, moisture-wicking-all that good stuff. They use organic cotton, recycled polyester, merino wool, and modal. And they do flatlock stitching so the seams don't chafe, which anyone who's ever gone running knows is basically a godsend.
What sets them apart from competitors like Lululemon or Vuori is this focus on what they call "mental fitness." It's not just about looking good or performing well-they're trying to build this whole community around the idea of progress, both physical and mental. They even do these "Mind & Muscle" events that combine workouts with mental fitness training.
The price point sits firmly in the premium category-think $60+ for shorts, $138 for their Commuter pants. But people seem willing to pay it because the quality's there and the stuff actually lasts. Plus, they've got this rewards program where every dollar you spend earns a point, and you get early access to new drops.
One more thing-they're big on partnerships with athletes who align with their mental fitness mission. Kevin Love, Jrue Holiday, and various LPGA players are all brand ambassadors. It's less about flashy endorsements and more about authentic connections with people who actually embody what they're trying to build.
