Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Roma Designer Jewelry-it's kind of the anti-thesis of what you'd expect from a luxury jewelry brand. After 15 amazing years and millions of pieces sold, Roma Designer Jewelry is evolving. We're rebranding as Grace Blooms Jewelry-a new name with the same heart. But before we get into that transition, let's talk about what made Roma special in the first place.

Roma Designer Jewelry was founded over a decade ago by David and Rebecca Callister with this pretty straightforward idea: why should authentic Italian craftsmanship be reserved for people dropping thousands at high-end boutiques? They basically cut out the middleman and started importing designer pieces directly from Milan, Paris, Bali, and Israel. And honestly? It worked.

The whole operation runs out of Eagle, Idaho-not exactly the jewelry capital of the world-but that's part of the charm. Our customers, or as we like to call them, our friends, come back again and again to buy the Designer Jewelry found in our online store and at Costco Wholesale Designer Jewelry Events around the U.S. Yeah, you read that right. Costco. They set up roadshows at Costco warehouses where they actually demonstrate and sell their Italian jewelry to members. It's this weird but brilliant hybrid of accessible luxury.

What's interesting is their design philosophy. Our name, Roma Designer Jewelry, comes from Rome, Italy (Roma) which is known as the "Eternal City". They're not chasing trends-they're creating pieces meant to look just as good in 20 years as they do today. Sterling silver, gold, rose gold. Classic stuff. Made in the heart of Milan by Italy's finest designers and craftsmen, every piece embodies a modern-day passion for authentic Italian design and craftsmanship.

Their bestsellers? Those adjustable Italian chains everyone keeps raving about. The kind of pieces that work whether you're grabbing coffee or heading to dinner. And they've built this whole community around it-over 61,000 Instagram followers who genuinely seem to love the brand, not just tolerate it.

But here's where it gets really smart: they've figured out customer loyalty in a way most jewelry brands haven't. They send handwritten notes (actual handwritten notes!) to customers after their third, sixth, and ninth purchases. In an age of automated everything, that personal touch apparently matters. People mention it on social media. They ask for "Kim" specifically when they call customer service.

The pricing is the real kicker though. We're talking premium quality without the premium markup. They offer free shipping on orders over $100, and they've even launched a jewelry club where you get $100+ worth of Italian-made pieces each month for $49.99. It's like they looked at the traditional jewelry business model and said, "Nah, let's do something different."

Now, about that rebrand to Grace Blooms-the company's being pretty transparent about it. Same heart, new name. They're marking down inventory as they transition, which is either a really smart clearance strategy or a genuine "thank you" to longtime customers. Probably both.

The bottom line? Roma Designer Jewelry carved out this unique space between fast-fashion costume jewelry and unattainable luxury pieces. They made Italian craftsmanship accessible, built a loyal community, and proved you don't need a Madison Avenue storefront to sell quality jewelry. Whether they maintain that magic as Grace Blooms remains to be seen, but for 15 years, they've been doing something right.
