Editor's Take
So here's the thing about Rose & Remington-it's basically the retail equivalent of that friend who gets you. Founded by a mother-daughter duo, the whole concept was built around creating a space where moms and daughters could actually shop together without the usual generational fashion clash. And honestly? That's kind of genius when you think about it.
The brand operates across multiple states now-OH, IN, KY, WV, TN, MI, and PA-which is pretty impressive growth for what started as a small boutique concept. The company was founded in 2013, and they've been steadily expanding ever since. But what really sets them apart isn't just the locations-it's the vibe they're going for.
They offer beautiful and affordable clothing for women of every age, with most dresses ranging from $30-$65 and tops ranging from $20-$45. Notice how they're hitting that sweet spot between fast fashion and boutique pricing? It's deliberate. They're not trying to be Nordstrom, but they're also not competing with Forever 21.
The aesthetic leans heavily into what they call "boho-chic"-think flowy dresses, romantic details, and that effortlessly trendy look that somehow works for both a college student and her mom. Rose & Remington is sister stores to Curve & Cloth and Burlap & Birch, so they've built out this whole lifestyle ecosystem.
One thing that comes up a lot in their messaging is community involvement. Rose & Remington believes in serving guests and community by providing an amazing experience and giving back to local & global initiatives. They've done giveback events for everything from Maui wildfire relief to local nonprofits, which adds that feel-good shopping element.
The shopping experience itself is interesting-their stylists are positioned as experts who can help you "achieve that perfect look," and they really lean into the personal service angle. Most stores operate with smaller teams, which means you're getting more personalized attention than you would at a typical mall retailer.
The brand was named after the founder's twin children, Rose and Remington, which adds this personal, family-owned touch to everything they do. It's that kind of detail that makes the brand feel less corporate and more like shopping at your cool aunt's boutique-if your cool aunt happened to have 20+ locations across the Midwest and South.
