Returns

What is the return window?
You have 14 days from the date you received an original artwork to let us know if you want to return it. Open Edition prints are eligible for return 30 days after the date you received your order.

Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Special commissions, limited and open editions prints, and frames are all final sale. You may return any eligible artwork that is not one of the Final Sale items, provided that it is returned to the artist in its original condition and packaging.

How will I receive my refund?
If the original artwork arrived damaged, or was misrepresented, you can return it for a full refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving it. All refunds will be subject to the exchange rate at the time of processing, and funds will be remitted in USD.

Who pays for return shipping?
We examine all returns on a case-by-case basis in order to determine who is responsible for paying all costs (shipping and customs) required to deliver the artwork back to the artist. Generally, if we determine that the artwork was accurately described on our site and the collector is returning it as a result of buyers remorse, then the collector is held responsible for return costs.

What if I received a damaged or incorrect item?
If your purchase arrives with damage, please contact our Support Team for immediate attention on the matter. When you submit your inquiry to your Sales Advisor, please provide as many details as possible about the situation; describe the manner in which the package was received, describe the packaging the artist used, describe the damage itself in full detail.

Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Saatchi Art-it's basically what happens when someone takes the intimidating world of art collecting and makes it, well, actually accessible. Founded as the world's largest selection of original art, this isn't your typical stuffy gallery where you need to whisper and wear all black.

Think of it like this: "Shopping at Saatchi Art is like visiting a museum accompanied by a curator." But instead of that curator being some pretentious person who makes you feel dumb for not knowing the difference between Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, these folks actually want to help you find something you'll love.

The Los Angeles-based platform connects you with emerging artists from around the world-and when I say around the world, I mean it. They've got 1.4 million artworks from 94,000 artists in over 110 countries, selling to collectors in more than 80 countries. Those aren't just impressive numbers; they're the kind of reach that would make traditional galleries weep into their champagne.

What really sets them apart is their approach to the whole buying experience. They offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee and deliver world-class customer service-which is refreshing when you're dropping serious money on something that'll hang on your wall for years. And unlike those galleries where you feel like you're bothering someone just by looking, they actually pay their artists more on every sale than other galleries.

The platform covers everything from paintings and photography to sculptures and mixed media. Artists can sell works in painting, collage, photography, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, installation, and open edition prints. It's like having access to every art school's graduating class, but curated by people who actually know what they're doing.
