Spring brings a fresh kind of energy to the River Walk, longer days, live music, new exhibits, and plenty of reasons to stay outside a little longer.

Here’s what to explore across all three sections this month:

🌆 Downtown - Grab lunch along the river, enjoy a concert in a historic venue, snap a pic in the new La Mariposa art installation at The Monarch Hotel, or make a quick coffee stop at Paris Baguette. Plus, during Fiesta, expect parades, music, and celebrations nearby.

🖼️ Museum Reach - Spend the afternoon at Pearl with live music, markets, and great food, then head to the San Antonio Museum of Art to see New African Masquerades. Don’t miss the Crawfish Boil at NOLA Brunch & Beignets.

🌿 Mission Reach - Walk or bike along the river, explore the UNESCO Missions and historic aqueduct, and stop by the World Heritage Center or Mission Marquee Plaza for markets and their National Poetry Month event Viva Poesía.

April means Fiesta, and the River Walk is right in the middle of it all.

This citywide celebration fills the river with color, music, and nonstop energy from April 16 - 26. It’s one of the most iconic times to visit!
