As we close another remarkable year at Savannah Music Festival, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who makes this work possible—our patrons, donors, sponsors, artists, volunteers, board members, staff, and community partners.

Through our 12-day Festival and year-round artistic, educational, and community programming, Savannah Music Festival generated an estimated $6 million in economic impact for the City of Savannah this year—a reflection of the powerful role music plays in strengthening our economy, enriching lives, and connecting our community.

I am especially proud that we will conclude the fiscal year with a balanced budget and a positive operating result. This achievement reflects the dedication of our team, the confidence of our supporters, and our shared commitment to ensuring a strong and sustainable future for the Festival.

Looking ahead, our excitement for the 2027 Festival is greater than ever. We are preparing for what promises to be a historic year—one filled with ambition, creativity, and some of the most impactful artists and performances ever presented on our stages. Our goal is not simply to build on our success, but to elevate it—to create an even more extraordinary experience for Savannah, our audiences, and the artists who inspire us.

The 2026 Savannah Music Festival brought the city to life with 55+ performances over 12 days, multiple sold-out shows, and nearly 10,000 attendees. Together with SMF’s year-round artistic, educational, and community programming, the Festival generated an estimated $6 million in economic impact for the City of Savannah this year.

SMF’s Year-Round Programs

SMF’s impact continues beyond the Festival through education and community programs that reach close to 10,000 students each year. Musical Explorers introduces elementary students to diverse musical traditions and cultures, while SMF Jazz Academy provides young musicians with free instruction, instruments, mentorship, and performance opportunities led by professional artists.

Through these programs, SMF expands access to music education, builds confidence and creativity, and helps inspire the next generation of musicians and music lovers.
