Returns

What is the return window?
You have 30 days from receiving your guard to return it for a refund or exchange. Fit issues must be brought to their attention within 30 days of receiving your custom guard, and all adjustment requests must be made within this same timeframe.

Do I need a receipt to return an item?
While not explicitly stated, you need to mail in your defective mouth guard with the original invoice or order number. They provide a prepaid return shipping label for the process.

Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Sentinel Mouthguards does not support purchases made from 3rd party vendors, as there are no authorized re-sellers for their products and all purchases must be made through approved channels. They're not responsible for a guard that no longer fits if dental work was performed after fabrication, and cannot provide refunds or remakes after new dental work.

How will I receive my refund?
If you're not satisfied with your custom product, you can ask for a full refund excluding shipping and impression kit cost ($23), and refunds will be issued once they receive the returned product. If there's a price difference during exchanges, you'll either be billed via PayPal invoice for the remaining amount or receive a credit if the new guard costs less.

Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Sentinel Mouth Guards-they're basically doing what a lot of people wish more companies would do. They cut out the middleman to offer exceptional quality at an affordable price, which sounds like marketing speak until you realize they're talking about saving you hundreds compared to getting the same thing at a dentist's office.

With a combined experience over 30 years, Sentinel has been a leader in creating high-quality, custom dental products like mouthguards. But what really sets them apart isn't just the experience-it's their approach. Instead of making you schlep to multiple dental appointments, they send you an at-home impression kit. You make your own dental molds (which takes about 3 minutes), mail them back, and get a custom-fitted guard made specifically for your teeth.

The materials thing is pretty impressive too. They use only the safest materials (BPA, silicone, gluten, latex, MMA, and phthalate-free) and ensure a perfect fit through their easy at-home impression process, guided by experts. Everything's crafted by their dental experts in the USA using the highest quality and chemical free materials.

And here's something kind of brilliant-they store your impressions digitally for life, so returning customers save 20%. Once they have your dental impression on file, reordering is basically effortless.

The product range covers pretty much everything you'd need: night guards for teeth grinding, day guards that are virtually invisible, sports guards, even tongue and cheek guards for people who bite themselves while sleeping. Prices start around $129 for their No-Show Day Mouth Guard, with their heavy-duty grinding guards running about $189.

What's really telling is their warranty approach. Hard and dual laminated night guards come with a 1-year warranty, while soft guards have a 6-month warranty-and if you grind through your guard, they'll remake it free using your existing impression on file. That's the kind of confidence in their product that makes you think they're probably onto something.
