What is the return window?
All of Sideshow's direct customers are covered by a 30-Day Return & Exchange window. This warranty starts at that highly anticipated moment when your item arrives on your doorstep. Just contact us within 30 days of delivery, and one of our expert Product Support Representatives can assist you in finding a solution that's right for your collection.
Do I need a receipt to return an item?
To start a return or exchange, make sure you are logged into your Sideshow account and then click here. This suggests you need to have purchased through your Sideshow account rather than needing a physical receipt.
Are there any items that are non-returnable?
We are only able to assist with purchases made directly through Sideshow.com. If you purchased from an outside retailer, private collector, or another third-party vendor, please contact that vendor directly for assistance.
How will I receive my refund?
Once your item is received, refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days. However, please note that it can take up to 14 business days for the funds to post to the original payment method(s), depending on your financial institution.
Who pays for return shipping?
If your item arrives damaged, send in some photos of the damage and we'll pay for the return shipping. For both domestic and international customers, we will provide you with a shipping label for your convenience, and any label costs will be deducted from your refund.
Editor's Take
Picture this: you're browsing online and stumble across a life-sized Baby Yoda that costs more than your car payment. Welcome to Sideshow Collectibles, where "premium" isn't just marketing speak-it's basically their religion.
Since 1994, Sideshow has been turning pop culture obsessions into museum-quality art pieces, and honestly? They've gotten scary good at it. We're talking about collectibles so detailed that they're regularly distinguished for achieving a level of authenticity seldom seen in the figure collectible arena. Think Hot Toys sixth-scale figures with facial hair you could count, or statues where every wrinkle in Batman's cape tells a story.
But here's where it gets interesting-Sideshow distributes unique offerings from notable pop culture and figural companies including Hot Toys, Tweeterhead, Prime 1, ThreeA, Mondo and many others. So they're not just making their own stuff; they're curating the crème de la crème of collectibles from around the world. It's like having a personal shopper who happens to be obsessed with Marvel, Star Wars, and DC Comics.
The company pulls in around $75M annually with 169 employees, which tells you something about the market for high-end collectibles. And when I say high-end, I mean it-some customers are dropping $850 for a single 1/6 scale figure. That's not a typo.
What really sets them apart is their approach to authenticity. They've forged collaborative relationships with Hollywood filmmakers and special effect houses including Guillermo del Toro, Legacy Effects, Spectral Motion, Amalgamated Dynamics Inc. and KNB EFX. So when you're buying a Predator statue, it's not just inspired by the movie-it's crafted with input from the people who actually made the movie creature.
Here's something cool: they offer payment plans and have deals on 'Seconds' items at discounted prices, making their premium collectibles slightly more accessible. Plus, they run events like Bestember 2025 with giveaways and daily livestreams.
