What is the return window?
Unused items purchased from StringKing.com may be returned for a refund within 30 days of the original purchase date. For custom-fit apparel specifically, every piece is fully guaranteed for up to 90 days, with a full refund available if returned within 14 days of delivery for any reason.
Do I need a receipt to return an item?
Yes. You will need the original order confirmation number and email address used to initiate the return. If the return is accepted, the refund will be applied to the original form of payment.
Are there any items that are non-returnable?
StringKing does not offer refunds on used items or items purchased through retail partners. Unfortunately they are only able to process returns for products that were purchased on StringKing.com. If you purchased a product from an authorized dealer, you can inquire about returning it by contacting the dealer directly.
How will I receive my refund?
Once returned items are received and verified by the returns department, a refund will be issued to the method of payment used to place the original order. Once issued, refunds take 5-10 days to appear on your statement.
Who pays for return shipping?
StringKing offers free shipping on returns. However, they are unable to refund shipping charges unless delivery was delayed.
Editor's Take
So here's the thing about StringKing-they're kind of the underdog success story that lacrosse needed. Started back in 2011 by two cousins who actually played college lacrosse, Jake McCampbell and Luke Aronson weren't just businessmen looking to cash in on a sport. They were players who got frustrated with inconsistent equipment and decided to do something about it. And honestly? That authenticity shows.
What makes StringKing interesting is how they've managed to disrupt an industry that was pretty set in its ways. Their mesh technology-which is basically the netting part of a lacrosse stick-became known for being ridiculously consistent. Like, you could buy a StringKing stick off the shelf and it would perform almost as well as one that had been custom-strung by an expert. That's huge for youth players and programs that can't afford custom equipment.
But they didn't stop at lacrosse. The company expanded into baseball bats, softball equipment, hockey sticks, and even custom-fit apparel. They're based in Gardena, California now (moved from Massachusetts), and they've built this reputation for quality that extends across multiple sports. The Mark 2 line of lacrosse heads? Those are trusted by everyone from youth players to professionals in the National Lacrosse League.
Their warranty program is another standout feature. Submit a claim and you can get a replacement in 2-3 days with free expedited shipping. No hassle, no runaround. It's the kind of customer service that builds loyalty, especially in a sport where equipment breaks and kids need replacements fast.
The company's grown significantly-some sources suggest they have over 400 employees now-but they've maintained that focus on innovation. They're constantly testing, iterating, and working directly with professional players to improve their products. And they're not just selling equipment; they've donated hundreds of sticks to youth programs like Harlem Lacrosse, making the sport more accessible.
What's cool is that StringKing represents this intersection of athletic passion and manufacturing innovation. They're using robotics, automation, and advanced materials science to make sports equipment. It's not just about making a better lacrosse stick-it's about understanding the physics, the player experience, and the manufacturing process well enough to deliver consistency at scale.
