Returns

What is the return window?
Under our Money Back Guarantee, we do cover a full refund on your first order when requested within 14 days since the delivery date of that first order. Sundays offers a 14-day refund policy upon delivery.

Do I need a receipt to return an item?
To initiate a return or refund, simply email at [email protected] with details. They will help cancel your subscription and issue a refund for your first shipment.

Are there any items that are non-returnable?
They don't accept returns, but they will refund your latest order and cancel your subscription when you contact their team via email. While Sundays is shelf-stable, the food is perishable, so we are unable to accept returns back to our warehouses.

How will I receive my refund?
Due to this, I have refunded you for this order. You should receive this refund within 5-7 business days.

What if I received a damaged or incorrect item?
This allows you to donate unopened boxes from your most recent order to your local shelter and in exchange, we will gladly refund 50% of the purchase amount.

Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Sundays for Dogs-it's basically what happens when a veterinarian gets fed up with the pet food industry and decides to do something about it. Dr. Tory Waxman and her software engineer husband Michael started this whole operation from their garage in 2020, and now they're feeding thousands of dogs.

What makes them different? Air-drying locks in peak flavors and nutrients better than kettle cooking "fresh cooked". It's like they found this sweet spot between raw food (which, let's be honest, can be a pain to handle) and kibble (which often feels like feeding your dog cardboard). Air-drying combines the best of cooked and raw approaches. Like raw, air-drying preserves nutrients and taste better than high heat methods.

And the convenience factor is real. Before opening, Sundays should stay fresh for ~12 months. After opening, Sundays should not spoil for at least 6-8 weeks. No more rushing home to stuff fresh dog food in the freezer or dealing with that slightly nauseating smell of refrigerated pet food.

The company's got some impressive stats too-Sundays won a third party taste test vs. traditional dog food 39-0. That's the kind of number that makes you wonder what exactly is in regular kibble that dogs find so unappealing.

But here's where it gets interesting: they're not just another subscription box trying to disrupt pet food. Parenting a dog is parenting, and we're obsessed with making it easier. Sundays for Dogs is what dog food always should have been: human-grade, vet-formulated, and easy. There's something refreshingly honest about that approach.

The pricing sits on the premium side, which makes sense given they're using 100% human-grade ingredients and a specialized air-drying process. Subscribers automatically receive a 20% discount on every recurring order, which helps offset the cost if you're committed to the switch.

What's particularly smart is their flexibility-though we call it a dog food subscription, there's no commitment with Sundays. Cancel your subscription, change delivery schedules, or edit meal plans anytime. No hidden fees, no long contracts. That's refreshing in a world where subscription services often feel like digital quicksand.
