Well golly it sure is hot out there, huh? The dog days of summer are upon us and over here on Planet Bluegrass that means one thing: it's time for the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival!
Lucky we have the river to stave off the heat. Planet Bluegrass is the coolest place to be (both physically because of said water, and in the hip way the kids are always talking about).
We just put a handful of additional on-site vehicle camping passes up for sale as we head into the home stretch. We'd love for you to join us!
Take a look at the daily lineups
All artists are listed in reverse performance order. You can take a look at the Main Stage schedule to catch their performance times here.
The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is currently on a farewell tour and this Sunday is one of their very last shows in Colorado. If you ever wished to see "Fishin' in the Dark" or "Mr. Bojangles" live, it's time to get off your high horse and join in on the fun! ...That was in reference to their song "High Horse," by the way, we're not just calling you out for fun!
Just imagine, this could be you! For those that aren't familiar, Folks Festival takes on a slower pace than Telluride Bluegrass and RockyGrass. We encourage you to soak up the sunshine and river, listen to artists while musing on the meaning of life. It's peaceful, relaxing, and calling your name!
We sure do hope to see you this weekend. If you need us, we'll be the ones with our heads dunked in the St. Vrain.
