Happy Monday. Stocks rose to start the week after an abbreviated week of trading due to Independence Day. The Nasdaq rose over 1.3% into the final hour of trading, while the S&P 500 came up just shy of a 1% gain.

In market news, Goldman Sachs dropped Taiwan Semiconductor from its list of 'high conviction' stocks in Asia and the Pacific.
