Father's Day: A Gift of Connection

Father's Day celebrates the dads and father figures who’ve shaped our lives. It also arrives during Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, creating an opportunity to reflect on something many men still find difficult: talking openly about what's really going on beneath the surface.

For generations, men were taught to be providers and problem-solvers. They weren’t always taught how to talk about their feelings. As Father's Day approaches, I find myself wondering what happens when we make room for those conversations — and what we miss when we don’t.
