Finding a Break from Distraction

Modern life has a way of filling every available second. Work follows us home, family life runs on calendars and logistics, and our screens keep buzzing for our attention. Over time, that pace can leave us distracted and out of touch with ourselves and the people we love.

That is part of what makes this time of year so meaningful. It creates a natural opening to slow down, step out of the noise, and reflect on what matters. When I do, I feel more grounded, more at peace, and happier. Why don’t we give ourselves this kind of pause more often?
